Age restriction

The minimum age for admission is 21 years per accordance to South Dakota law. There is absolutely no exception to this rule even if a person under the age of 21 is accompanied by an adult. A valid ID must be presented at all shows. If you purchase a ticket and are not 21 years old, Fat Daddy's will not resell your ticket for you, no refund will be made and no credit will be issued in place of the ticket purchase. But, if you come back for your 21st birthday (during a regular priced show), your admission is free! :)

Box Office Hours

Our box office is open Thursday-Sunday at 6:30PM. If you would like to purchase tickets in advance, you may call 605-274-6555 Wednesday-Sunday after 3PM or purchase online. If you call and are directed to voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Seating policy

All seating is done on a first come, first serve basis. During busy shows, we may pre-seat the crowd and will not be able to accommodate seating requests made at the door. If you wish to sit with a certain party, you MUST let us know in advance otherwise it is highly unlikely you will be seated at a specific table. You may request a certain location for seating (ie: front, not in back, close to the restroom) if your tickets are paid for in advance (this entails creating a comment online at the time of purchase or by calling in and requesting a certain location by 3PM the day of the show). However, we may not be able to accommodate every request.

For all tickets held at the box office:

We are happy to reserve seats for any evening. We will need to hold seats with a credit card and will charge the card after 3PM the day of the show for the number of guests in your reservation. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, you must call prior to 3PM the day of the show to make changes. If you call to change or cancel a reservation and are unable to speak with somebody regarding the change/cancellation prior to 3PM, please leave a message with the name of your party as well as the changes you would like us to make to your reservation. If we do not hear from or receive a voicemail BY 3PM, you will be charged for the number of seats initially reserved for your party. If you would like to hold a reservation with a credit card and pay cash at the door we are happy to do that as well. No refunds will be made for absolutely any reason and no credit will be given toward another show if you are unable to attend and do not cancel by 3PM.

All tickets purchased online will be held at the box office. Seating for online purchases is first come, first serve. If tickets are purchased online (as with any other purchase at Fat Daddy's) there is absolutely NO refund for any reason and we will not issue credit for another show. If you purchase tickets and you are not 21, we will not issue a refund. Simply put, you MUST BE 21 to get into the comedy club and no exceptions will be made to this rule (even if you are accompanied by a parent or guardian!).

If you come in a group and wish to sit together, you must pay for or reserve seats in advance and let us know who you would like to sit with (whether it be by creating a comment online when you purchase your tickets or by calling and letting us know when you make your reservation). Even if you pay in advance, seating is first come, first serve. The doors open at 6:30PM - if you wish to be seated at a certain table, please pick up your tickets as close to 6:30PM as possible so you are able to choose your seat. **We may not be able to accommodate every seating request, but we will try our best to get everyone the best seating**.

Most of our tables seat four people. We will seat groups of more than four as close to each other as possible. If your party consists of fewer than four people there is a strong possibility other people will be seated with you. An automatic 15% gratuity will be added to parties of 6 or more. We may ask for a credit card to hold a tab. For any table that walks out on a tab, we will charge the card that held the ticket reservation and an automatic 15% gratuity will be added to the credit card charge. We will also add an automatic 15% gratuity to all credit card receipts that are not left at the table.

Non-Smoking Shows

All shows are non-smoking.

Dress Code

We do not have a dress code but please keep in mind that we are a performance venue. Please do not wear anything that will block the view of other patrons. Also, as a comedy club, we take no responsibility if a comedian makes fun of your outfit.
